Sriram Raghavan

Sriram Raghavan

Co-Founder & CEO

Sriram serves as the CEO of Comat and is responsible for driving revenue growth and interacting with key customers, partners and investors of the company. Earlier, he founded Comat Data Services in the US, which was subsequently sold in 2002. Sriram returned to Comat India in 2003, and since then has overseen the creation of one of the largest organizations providing access to essential government, education and financial services to the poor. Under his leadership, Comat secured several prestigious awards, including the NASSCOM Innovation Award for its unique business model, and the Legatum FORTUNE Technology Prize for applying business and technology solutions that dramatically improve the lives of the poor. In recognition of his work, Sriram was nominated for the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the World Technology Network in 2005, and won the Super Achiever of the Year Award in 2006. Recently, he has also been honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum for 2010. Sriram is a serial Entrepreneur and holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering.

Ramesh Ramaswamy

Ramesh Ramaswamy

Chief Financial Officer

Ramesh Ramaswamy serves as the CFO of Comat Technologies and is in charge of accounting, pricing strategy and finances for the company. He has over 24 years of experience in private and public sector companies in India. He has worked with leading organizations such as Reckitt & Colman and Khaitan Group. Most recently Ramesh served as CFO and was later promoted to CEO in an American multinational company based in Bangalore, where he oversaw all India operations and strategized future growth areas.

Ramesh is a CA and ICWA professional and a graduate of St. Xaviers College, Kolkatta.

Shrihari Kulkarni

Shrihari Kulkarni

VP, Projects & New Initiatives

Shrihari Kulkarni plans, monitors and maintains relationships with stakeholders of all key projects for the Company. He also spearheads new initiatives and strategies at Comat. Prior to assuming this role, Shrihari served as the Chief Financial Officer, coordinating finance related activities like resource raising, monitoring, improving efficiencies and setting in place systems and processes to build robust financials.

Before joining Comat, Shrihari was at a Venture Capital Fund by a wholly owned subsidiary of an all India financial institution. Shrihari is a rare combination of excellence in Engineering, Management and Finance. He graduated from the London School of Economics where he was enrolled on a Chevening scholarship. Shrihari also completed his B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Rahuri, Maharastra and his PGDM from IIM-Ahmedabad.

Shailendra Nalige

General Manager, Operations

Shailendra has 24 years of rich professional experience in the areas of Quality & Operations in the field of Information Technology, Telecom & Computer Peripherals. He has been associated with Comat for close to 10 years and has contributed to the conception, implementation, process migration, quality system, process review and client management of many large projects across various locations In India. In the past, Shailendra has also successfully headed the company’s BPO and Medical Transcription business for several prestigious international clients. Currently, he heads the Company’s Operations in Karnataka and is responsible for managing the network of 800 plus Rural Business Centers that deliver citizen centric services. He is also responsible for Quality and Data Security Certification activities for all units of Comat. Shailendra holds a bachelors degree in Engineering. He is also an IRCA certified ISO 9000 Lead Assessor.

Dinesh Kaushik

Dinesh Kaushik

Head, Technology and Information Systems

As Head of technology and information systems, Dinesh Kaushik oversees mapping of Comat’s end to end business processes to IT, and manages the Company’s IT infrastructure. He has over 12 years of experience, having successfully implemented technology solutions in large retail companies. Prior to joining Comat, Dinesh was Information System Manager at Unilever. He has also worked as General Manager for MIS systems at café Coffee day and as Head IT homesolutions in Pantaloon Retail. 

Dinesh graduated from Regional Engineering College, Surat with a bachelor’s in Engineering. He also holds a management degree from T.A Pai Management Institute, Manipal.

Sudhanva K E

Director, Government Relations

Sudhanva has been playing various key roles in Comat for the past 11 years. He has been at the forefront of business development, helping the company bag several prestigious projects. He has contributed to the development of rural sales and business strategy for the company. He has also been instrumental in overseeing the set up of 800 Rural Business Centers in Karnataka and operationalizing them. Currently, Sudhanva handles all important Government relations for Comat, including liaison with senior bureaucrats on need identification, project conceptualization and implementation. He holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
